Disney Packing List For Toddlers
Clothing and Personal Care
First of all, do not forget your face masks. You still need to use them and some places enforce the rules. Choose models that breathe as the weather may be hot.
Our Disney packing list for families with toddlers will take care of our heads. We should think about caps to protect our heads. Most of the items will be themed, and as adults we can take one too, as we are all kids here, right?
Do not forget to bring your sunscreen. And if you do, you can buy one at the parks. Always take care of your skin even if the sun isn’t direct, this goes for both you and your toddlers. I personally prefer sport versions as they work well with heat and are easy to apply.
Also, you can bring some themed tops from home or order them online. They can be a bit expensive at the parks and you will want one for every day of your visit. You can even think about some personalized design!
Even if the weather is hot, you should always bring a light coat because air conditioners are really high indoors and during transit. If you’re planning on wearing a dress, you can use some seamless pants underneath or bring an extra outfit in case you need a change.
Your feet should always breathe and be comfortable – trust me, you do not want to be in pain when in line for your favorite ride. Think about what footwear you’d bring to the gym, or for a hike. You will walk for miles during your visit.
You can be certain it will rain at some point during your stay. Disney Ponchos are a bit pricey – especially if you are a family of three or four. I recommend bringing your own, you can purchase a pack for a really good price.
Extras
I swear by hermetic bags. Especially if you’re traveling with toddlers. I use them for LIFE. For example, you can use them to bring snacks, store personal care products, or even protect your phone from getting wet. For this kind of item, I recommend Garden Grocer if you’re staying at WDW resort. You can purchase everything you would from a supermarket and it will be delivered to your hotel lobby during your check-in day. Furthermore, you can shop a few months before your stay, so that will split some of your expenses too.
Let’s talk about Strollers now. Even if your kids grew out of them, you may find a compact model useful for WDW. You will walk a lot, and children may get overtired. Besides, they can nap in there and you can go on with your day without interruptions. You can even use it to place your heavy backpack in there! If you do not want to travel with one, you can purchase an umbrella model for a low price. Renting one at the parks is a bit pricey, so this may be a good bang for your buck.
Packing cubes are my ultimate must-haves. I time-block for life and cube-pack for travel. They are just so helpful when it comes to unpacking and repacking before going back home. You always bring some items without using them, so why would you even take them out or unfold them? Just place the cube that you know that has shirts, tops, or pants on the closet shelves and take whatever you need. I also recommend a laundry bag too. Some packs include it.
Reusable straws. Stands and restaurants will not provide you with straws, so a pack of reusable ones will do you good! You can even personalize them:
Tech
If you have a good wifi service where you’re staying, I highly recommend a Roku for watching TV when you’re not at the parks. They are super small, and they support several platforms:
White noise machines are really useful because sometimes hotel rooms can be noisy. They will also help both you and your kids relax after a full day.
Travel charger. You will use your phone a lot, as a camera, or as a personal assistant through Genie+ or mobile order. I recommend no less than 10000 mAh and that charges more than one phone:
Last, but not least: when the heat strikes, a portable fan and a cooling towel can do wonders!
